Mastering Supply Chain Episode 5: Becoming a 9-5 Student Athlete
Hello everyone and welcome back to this blog and to this series, where I share how I am trying to settle into my new chapter of life in Rotterdam.
In this episode, we are making drastic changes - just kidding - but I want to try out something new since I feel like I am far behind in uni and everything else and blah blah blah (in reality, I just went away for a weekend with the association that I am part of and then immediately got hit with a classic week-long cold but I am dramatic and overwhelmed✌🏻).
Welcomeeeeee to my 9-5 life!!
This is where I try to:
Become the best version of myself (mentally and physically of course 🦾)
Graduate with honors in my Master’s degree (or at least a high GPA)
Become an athlete (more or less)
Yeeeeehaaaaawwwwww! Go big or go home I guess. Can you tell this is my idea at 10:30 pm on a Sunday evening haha? But hear me out: I will treat uni like a 9-5 job which means I have study time and lectures every day from 9 am to 5 pm, from Monday to Thursday/Friday.
(in blue are the lectures and in orange is my self devoted study time 🤓)
Since I actually like waking up early (5–7 am), I am going to try to get back into that rhythm. In the early mornings or evenings I will devote my time to my career as an athlete (she’s a runner she’s a track star…🎶). The rest of my evenings are reserved for my social life 🫠💃🏼🪩.
Weekends will be for fun activities, long bike rides or runs and for catching up with the uni stuff I did not manage during my 9-5 week (But with this ✨master plan✨, I should only need to revise on weekends, because everything else will be done during the week… right? Right?? 🤥🤡).
Well…let’s test it out…shall we? Wish me luck and I will report back on how it is going 🙃
Love you and…
Byeeee <3
