Mastering Supply Chains Episode 4: Getting Into a New Routine

Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of my series Mastering Supply Chains which is all about my new live chapter studying Supply Chain Management in Rotterdam.

In this episode, I want to talk about getting into new routines - which is can be way harder than it sounds 😅. Moving, meeting new faces, keeping up with uni, joining clubs/associations, and staying active in sports… it’s a lot all at once. So, this is how I am trying to manage it (and yes, this also serves as a help for myself as I just woke up at 10:30 am meanwhile I wanted to go to the gym at 8 am and to the library at 11 am 🥲😴).

Morning Routine (about 1 hour)

This is the most important routine for me as it sets up my day in a positive and empowering way.

  1. Wake up (Ideally would be between 5 and 7 am which does not work at all at the moment 🥱).

  2. Green tea (My non-negotiable. I’ve had it every morning since I was 15, and even if I cannot do my full routine, this little step gets me a long way already).

  3. Oil pulling (I take coconut oil and swoosh it around in my mouth for 10-20 minutes).

  4. Wash my face

  5. Get dressed

  6. Hair and makeup (While drinking my tea).

  7. Small bite to eat (Not a big breakfast as I am usually not so hungry in the mornings but something to fuel myself. This has also helped my skin a lot!).

  8. Brush my teeth and then I am good to go .

What about you? Do you have any tips for getting out of bed earlier and starting the day strong? Let me know in the comments—I need the advice 😅.

And as always, have a great day. Love you and…
